ARTICLE I - EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Executive Board, consisting of the Guild Officers, shall meet at the call of the President.
 
ARTICLE II - DUES/Amended - 9-2001
Dues shall be $15 for two years, payable for two years at the December meeting at which new officers are elected and shall be delinquent after the following March meeting.
 
ARTICLE III - DUTIES OF OFFICERS
Section 1  President:  The president shall preside at regular meetings, perform the duties that usually pertain to the office, appoint and be ex-officio of all committees except the nominating committee, and appoint the Parliamentarian and Publicist.
 
Section 2  Vice President:  The Vice President shall perform all duties of the President in the absence of the President.  The Vice President shall assume chairmanship of the Program committee and yearbook committee upon assumption of office without further formal appointment by the President.
 
Section 3  Secretary:  The Secretary shall notify members of time and place of regular meetings, keep a complete record of all meetings, and have charge of all papers belinging to the Guild.
 
Section 4  Treasurer:  The Treasurer shall handle all funds and  shall pay all bills after due authorization by the Guild.
 
Section 5  Historian:  The Historian shall keep all records of the Guild's activities in a bound book.
 
Section 6  Parliamentarian:  The Parliamentarian shall serve in an advisory capacity to the President and settle all questions of procedure.  The Parliamentarian shall also incorporate all approved changes or additions to the constitution or By-laws.
 
Section 7  Publicity:  The Publicist shall serve as a publicity and public relations agent, promoting information or news concerning the activities of the Guild.
 
Section 8  Area Monitors shall be selected by their peers in their area.  Incumbent Area Monitors shall insure attendance of replacement Area Monitors and Program Monitors for their area at the March meeting at which new officers are elected.  The Area Monitor shall secure a place for Guild meetings and determine luncheon arrangements; coordinate their meeting activities with their respective Program Monitors; be responsible for providing refreshments with respective area members contributing all supplies and expenses incurred; regular members and guests and, when applicable, monitor reservations for special luncheons (Christmas, Seminars) and determine the practicality of awarding door prizes or providing favors on an optional basis.
 
Section 9  Program Monitors shall be selected by their peers in their area, and shall comprise the Program Committee without formal appointment by the President.  they shall furnish applcable program information, to include any special supplies or equipment to be brought y members, to the Secretary at least three weeks prior to their meetings.  They will plan and execute the workshop, demonstrations or special seminars conducted in their area, an in so doing, mayh recruit assistance from other areas; coordinate their meeting activities with the Vice President and with their respective Area Monitors, except they need not obtain prior approval of fees paid to members who conduct Guild workshops.  When sponsoring special seminars conducted by paid teachers, they shall obtain prior approval of all arrangements and expenses fromt he Vice President.
