ARTICLE I - NAME
The name of thie organization shall be the Alabama Porcelain Painter's Guild
 
ARTICLE II - OBJECT
The object of the Alabama Porcelain Painter's Guild shall be to function as a non-profit organization with the purpose of increasing interest in the Fine Are of porcelain painting through study, research, experimentation and unslefish sharing.
 
ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP
Section 1  Any china painter who is interested and willing to work for the objectives set down in ARTICLE 88, and whose application is presented with dues, shall be eligible for membership.
 
ARTICLE 1V - OFFICERS AND THEIR ELECTION
Section 1  The officers shall be President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Area Monitor, Program Monitor, Historian, Parliamentarian, and Publicist.
 
Section 2  Officers shall be elected and installed in December and assume their duties at the following March meeting.  Officers will serve for a period of two years.  Voting shall be by ballot and elections shall be by a mojority of favorable votes of members present.  With the exception of Area Monitors and Program Monitor, nomination shall be by a Nominating Committe elected at the September meeting, preceeding the December meeting at which new officers are elected.
 
 
ARTICLE V - MEETINGS
Regular meetings shall be held the second Saturday of March, June, September, and December.  Members shall be notified of time and place by the Secretary.
 
ARTICLE VI - AMENDMENTS AND PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY
Section 1  this constitution and by-laws may be amended at any regular meeting by a two-thirds vote of members present, provided the proposed amendment has been presented in writing at the previous regular meeting, or members notified by mail thirty days prior to voting.
 
Section 2 - Quorum.  One-third of the entire membership at any regular meeting shall constiture a quorum for the transaction of business.
 
Section 3  Robert's Rules of Order Revised, shall be the authority for Guild procedure.
